is it the opti? i have fire coming out of the coil.

 

Hey there. Do you happen to have more information about the problem? If you have spark at the plugs and coil, thats a good thing . If you could, can you provide me with a little more information?

 

the car runs but has a bad misfire. it acts like it starts to clear up but at the same time runs rough. sometimes it backfire's out the exhaust.

 

Do you have any tools that you could use for testing purposes, such as a digital multi-meter that tests for AC/DC voltage and resistance (ohm)? Do you have a fuel pressure tester? Have you pulled the plugs to see what they look like?
