FelPro Head Gasket Set Question
 

Hi guys,

I noticed that there are two different head gasket sets offered by Felpro -- one for the camaro & one for the corvette. They have almost the same part number:

Fel-Pro Hs9966Pt2 (Corvette)
Fel-Pro HS9966PT (Camaro)

When i checked on the various part sites, they come up as a fit for either engine. The strange thing is, the camaro's gaskets are 10-15 dollars more expensive. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this -- could I just buy the corvette gaskets (which i would assume would work, due to the engine being the same) or should I stick with the Camaro gasket set and eat the extra 15 bucks?

Any help would be great!

The gaskets in the pictures I saw for the Vette system shows "LT4" style valve cover gaskets as well as exhaust gasket differences.

In my opinion, stick with the Camaro set.

I put on the impala gaskets from mr. gasket. theyre thinner and will give you just a slight bump in compression
