I doubt this matters but, I have new Felpro WP and timing cover gaskets--just not sure which side goes toward the block. The gaskets are blue, however, one side is striped and appears to be a little harder than the other. I'm guessing the stripe side goes against the block?

Doesn't matter. The gasket is the same material on both sides.
