Fbody Cold air?

is there any aluminum or stainless cold air intakes for the fbody lt1s? im only seeing theses plastic things anyone know any other options?

The SLP CAI has two metal tubes:

What's wrong with plastic? I probably transfers less engine compartment heat to the incoming air, compared to something like aluminum, which is an excellent heat conductor.

yea they just look real chinsy to me and i cant let myself spend 200 on plastic ya know?

I've got a Lingenfelter tube only no filter, that I'd part with for a fellow Camaro dude for a whole lot less. Intrested, pm me we'll talk or at least swap PM's.
