i wondering whats the fastest you can get or have gotten an lt1 to go. but im talking lt1 350 or 355 which most of us have done no stroker no nitrous no supercharger i mean just motor with your typical heads and cam, stall or m6, ect.
my personal best has been 11.7 with the le2 setup and complementing components.

I think the record is 10.8? I am not sure who's car this is. I am sure someone will chime in. Suspension and drag radials can make a huge improvement.

 

Tim H I believe is running 10.3's @ 132mph. He has a 355 w/ ported LT4's and a solid roller. 6spd car.

 

I may have it. Not sure on the overall 355 or below but I may have it. I do know I have the lt1 NA 6 speed record no matter how many cubes. That is unless you include mindgame when he has is 18 deg. converted heads.

Same bottom end I'm using with the lt4s but with ported lt1 heads/intake. Ported by a local guy and SAR2K(who did my lt4 heads/intake) did the intake.

 

LOL...not trying to be cocky. I think Tanner use to have the 6 speed record and I've been after him for a long time..finally got him. I fully expect him to take it back.

 

I thought Quickshotkimber (James Eddy) ran 10.80s at 122ish with a stock bottom end, LT1 casting heads, and a pretty good sized Joe Overton grind...That was last year....

he may have, I never kept up with the auto weenies I think I may have been the fastest lt1 headed 6 speed and I think I have the fastest 6 speed now...even though I'm still using gm castings.

Guess that it didn't register in the original thread about being lt1 heads. OH well...my old heads flowed 246(cough cough) average across all the intake ports and was 177CC runners. Lt1 intake was fully ported.I think that setup had some low 8s in it on a perfect day. And no, I don't still have them. Heads are gone but intake should be comign back to me sometime.

 

how much does it usually cost to get heads flow tested? anyone got stock head numbers
