fan problems
 

i just changed my waterpump, started the car, the fans came on right and car was sitting at perfect temp, i turned it off, when i turned it back on again about 5-10 min later it got hot and the fans were not coming on, when driving the temp is down but when in residential or at a long stop light, etc. the temp goes up, anyone know why the fans are not turning on or what i can do to check them. thanks

Check the obvious first-fuses. Also be sure you have bled any air out of the system so there are no pockets that might be fooling the temp sensor in the water pump.
