exhaust question??????
exhaust question??????
Will Borla exhaust for an ls1 fit on an lt1????
I am assuming it will, but why is everyones who is selling their exhaust saying "this is for a 98-02 camaro" or "this is for a ls1" or "this is for an lt1"
I didnt think there was a difference. I mean the cars are the same except for stuff that is related with the engine.........headers are different and a y-pipe is different (i think)
So whats up with the exhaust thing......i thougth from the y-pipe back everything was the same from 93-02.
Thanks guys
Scott

Re: exhaust question??????
it's all in the location of the collector on the end of the ypipe.
i think there are 4 "models" or forms if you will
93-95 single cat
95 california cars with dual cats
96-97 dual cats
98+ ls1 engines
the dual cats and ls1 cars are the most similar. i think there is an S bend in the pipes for the early lt1 cars due to the single cat
