exhaust leak from header tube

http://community.webshots.com/user/justin513ac

From the tube that comes up off the passenger side bank, whatever was on it blew off while i was driving last night. Could someone tell me can i just block it off, and where i can get something to do that, or what i need to do about it.

That's just your AIR tube connector. If you have AIR deleted, then you probably just had a threaded plug in there.

I think a 22mm drain plug works on some AIR threads, depending on year. Don't drive it until you get a plug. Your car will run SUPER rich.

Yeah, you shoudn't have much of a problem once you get it plugged back up.

You probably just ran rich for a little bit.

Well Orielly's and autozone both don't have a 22mm drain plug. So for anyone, esp with BBK headers where did you find the plug to fit.

Call BBK and ask the threading. On my MACs it was 7/8ths by 18...emissions threadings are far different then regular threadings so you don't mess with them, I had to have some custom made at a hydraulics shop.

You probably need a #10 an union. This is what I used to connect my EGR system on my RK sport headers. This is a link to the connector, but you probably need just a plug the same size.
