Exhaust on a budget

Alright I have some money (not alot) and I want to get a decent not to loud cat back for my 93 LT1 I already have shorty headers and I am going to get a free flowing cat but I dont want the car real loud. What is fairly quiet but still breathes to make decent power.

The Magnaflow system is very quiet down low but when you get heavy on the throttle it really opens up. Plus it flows very well and is stainless steel.

Re: Exhaust on a budget

Try a Hooker catback(good sound, but somewhat quiet).

I'm a fan of cutouts, sounds powerful when you want it to You could always chuck up a bit extra to make it electric so you can open/close it at will. Ends up around $180 for cutout + electronics. and probably another $20-30 for install. A catback would start at that price and then whatever for the install.
