not the answer you want, but I would suggest forget the flowmaster muffler and go for a different brand cat-back

where were you trying to get it from? is your heart set on flowmaster b/c there are other swap in mufflers available for our cars that sound alot better than flowmaster (i.e. Hooker aerochamber, dynomax ultra flo, etc.)? if you were trying to buy it online youll find it cheapest at www.summitracing.com. anyways i think its 3'' inlet and 2.5'' outlets. youll need the 80 series muffler if you wanna keep the duals (look at least). honestly ide do some shopping around first. im only bying the flowmaster because its really easy to get, this shop has them in stock at all times, other brands i have to wait , and some are more money, but no im not too crazy about flowmaster, also they make the 80 series direct fit for my car, i hope it sounds half descent...thanks for the replies, i guess it is a 3" pipe after all...thats what i thought but i wasnt sure.

I think it's only 2 3/4, but i'm not sure, don't feel like going out to the top of the barn to measure for you, sorry.

I'm also not crazy about flowmaster, but it's your car.

well guys i just put in my flowmaster today, i had previously taken out my cat last week, ( i know im not a big fan of the flowmaster myself, but it was in stock and i dont like waiting), so anyways i bought the 80 series 3" in and 2.5" 's out, it worked very well, the muffler shop did a pretty good job on the welding, and it sounds 10 times better than before, i was actually impressed with how nice it sounded, especially with my automatic, this thing really sounds awsome at low RPM's, you dont need to rev it really high to get the nice throaty sound, but i have to tell you it sounds really good , maybe mine kinda sounds a little better perhaps because i dont have a catalytic converter anymore, but anyways if you guys end up with a flowmaster i dont think youll regret it.

I have to agree, I'm more of a musclecar guy, and I just started playing with my 93 z28...everybody says unhappy things about flowmaster here...I still got the flowmaster catback (the fit was less than desirable) but I for one have always loved the flowmaster sound, especially if youve got some decent compression, and a long duration cam.
