Ever Tried the Tornado?
Just wondering if anyone ever used that Tornado thing they are advertising on tv. It sits just inside the air intake and is supposed to make the air "spin like a tornado" as it enters the engine. They claim better gas mileage and aprox 10 more hp on the dyno.
It sounds like a scam, just wanted to check with you guys.

Not worth it at all. Think about it...how can something that you insert into your intake tract that obstructs flow give you 20HP and improve gas mileage? It's a nice idea, but no.

PEOPLE WHO THINK OF USING THIS THING OR EVEN BRING IT UP SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED ON HERE BUT SHOULD BE MOVED OVER TO THE IMPORT BOARDS.... MAKE UR OWN WITH A SPRITE CAN... It'll even restrict more air for less.....

Anyways, I have heard only a little bit about it, and from what I hear, it is just worthless. People have already brought up points why, so I won't bother to repeat them.

easy now I didnt say I had at any point considered buying one, I was just curious if anyone else had. YOu didnt scare off a newby, I'm actually not a newby this is my 3rd LT1 car and still loving it!
