I do not know much about working on cars. Recently I felt frogy and decided to change my head gaskets, which required me to take off my intake manifold and cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds. Which for somebody that does not know much about cars is a big project.I got all the big pieces back together correctly (to the best of my knowledge).

The problem is when I diconnected the wires that connected to the intake manifold I did not label them like I should have. Like the black and grey ones on the passenger side of the intake manifold.

Does anybody have some good clear pictures of a stock 95 LT1? I just need to see the collor of the wire connectors so I put them back in the right place.

Also, It seems I have misplaced 1 intake manifold bolt and, also 1 exhaust manifld bolt. All of the other bolts were put into the exact same place they were taken out of. But I am having trouble finding the exact bolts to fit. Any suggestions? The dealership was no help.

I did learn a valueable listen.... Label all wires before disconnection!!!

Great site! a lot of helpful things on there.
But I am not trained in how to read those wiring charts. And I have no electrical experiance whatsoever. I need a wiring chart for dumbies.
I need to find out where does the grey HVAC wire plug into, the top prong on the intake manifold or the bottom.
There are 2 wires I am worried about. 1 the black HVAC and 2 the Grey HVAC wires. And they plug in right next to each other. One on top of the other. where do they go?
Can anybody with a 95 Z28 pop their hood and check for me.
On the passenger side of the intake manifold there are two plugs grey and black.
Does anybody know?

 

HVAC wires? Do you mean vacuum hose? There is a diagram on the radiator cover that shows the vacuum hose routing.
