Engine opinions needed!

I was wanting to get everyones opinion on this engine (see url) as to whether it is worth $2500 and will function correctly. I ran the specs on Dyno2000 and the seller is about on the money for his horsepower claim. My main question is on the heads. I'm still learning about the LT1, which is why I am posting here. The seller claims that the heads will fit ANY gen I or II Chevy 305, 350, or 400 from the 1950's up to 1996. The heads also have provisions for reverse flow cooling. Is there a difference between these heads and the LT1 heads? Are only LT1 heads supposed to be used on an LT1 engine? Please help me out.
