Engine installation

I'm getting ready to drop my engine in the car. I want to know what all I can have on the long block and still be able to fit it in from the top. I have Hooker long tubes. I also have the accessories already on the long block(I have to measure for the belt length). The hood is on the car. Will I have to take off the hood and will I be able to drop it in with everything already on the engine? TIA.

Here's some pics of the engine for those interested.

Baby Steps. Yes, hood off, Accessories off and headers off, do those later, it will bite you if you dont.

I did a swap a while back and found it easy to install without any accesories or headers (don't even try it!), plus no intake----just so that no badwords started popping all over the place while doing the install. Removing the hood would definitely help. It's not that heavy anyways.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm gonna try to drop it in with the headers already installed though. Has anybody done this before with long tubes?

I have gone through the top with shorties and just about every accessory. It is tight, but just go slow and have someone help you position everything.

Thanks, I'm gonna try it with everything first and take off what I absolutely have to until I can get it in. I'll take some pics while we're at it.
