Engine having a hard time starting!

My car is having a hard time starting! I once thought I had a bad Opti for sure because my car was running real bad along with my starting issue but by scanning it I found out I had an arching issue on the right side of the block. Car runs a LOT better now! I still have the excessive cranking though, along with some high idleing coming to a stop and then it drops where it should be. What else can I check before ordering a new Opti?

One more question! If I had the arching problem when my car was tuned on the dyno this means my car isn't tuned correctlly, right?

yes, I'd say for sure you tune is off. I can't believe they didn't catch that on the dyno

Well they did see some spike readings and asked me how old my plugs, wires and Opti were. They just weren't thinking about an arching wire I guess!

Should I replace my Opti before heading to the dyno again for a tuning or will my tuning be the same no matter if I have an Opti that may be bad or a good Opti? Thanks!
