Engine dies while driving

So I’m driving just about anywhere and sometimes after a while the engine will sputter and die sometimes it starts right up some times it takes a while to start back up what are things I can check and do to resolve problem engine is a 94 our of a b body

Check the fuel pressure, with engine under load. Scan it for codes. Have the ICM tested, making sure they get it good and hot. Then there's Scan9495 to run a PCM data log while the car is driven under conditions that produce the stall.

How many miles on the engine? Has the Optispark been replaced? If so, with what brand?
