Engine decipher?

Can anyone decipher this engine block stamp?

It is V0716SAP. I was told it was out of a '93 TA.

If this is the wrong forum to ask this feel free to point in the right direction.

Thanks,

Greg

Re: Engine decipher?

If you could post the partial VIN by the oil filter, that might help.

Re: Engine decipher?

It appears to be a 1993 Camaro, built in Flint Mi. on July 16 mated to an automatic trans.

They were. Ste. Therese, Quebec plant, but perhaps engines were built in Flint?

OP, definitely a 93 and a Chevrolet. An LT1 block is an LT1 block (unless it has 4 bolt mains and then it came out of a Corvette). Where it came from really makes little difference.

Re: Engine decipher?

The engine ID VO716SAP means the engine was assembled in Flint, not the car.
