Electric fan and Service engine light??

Electric fan and Service engine light??
when ever electric fan switches on the service engine light comes on, but then when i am at a stop light or idling, the fan switches off and the light goes off, but when i hit the gas the light comes on and the fan comes on. Its not throwing any codes tho. HELP and thanks
