Would it still be good to get a cut out even if I am not going to be using longtubes? Ive been looking into getting an electric cut out for a while, just not sure if its worth it.

I wasn't gonna chime in on this one til FacelessZ did.

I have had the Mccord Electric cutout for over a year without any problems.

Just my experience.

Out of those 3. I hear there DMH is the best. Its a little more but i rather pay the little bit more money for more quality and a good warrenty. IMO its worth the extra money in the long run. The DMH is what i'm gonna be going with when i get mine.

I have the QTP electric cutout for over a year now and i simply love it. I have had no issues with mine. Only thing thats tricky is making sure its totally closed and open. Other than that no worries. But I will say I was not so fond of the very thin, fragile looking wiring coming off the unit itself. I guess it holds up fine since i havent had any issues with it. good luck with whichever you buy

DMH is the BEST!! Hands Down!!
Never heard anyone complain about a DMH cutout thats because they use better materials and have tighter clearances so no leaks and backed by a FULL 4 year warranty. I have mine and have ZERO complaints about it (I LOVE IT). If you wanna save a few bucks go with the cheaper ones but you GET what you PAY for in this case.
I have only heard folks complain about the other cutouts and never complained about DMH.

Really Great quality stuff and Really Great Customer service too.

Here is the website http://www.dmhperformance.com

Someone here was already nice enough to post the link to the write up I did with pics

Thx,
Claude
