egr air pump delete

egr air pump delete

hey i wanted to know if i can get rid of my egr on my 95 ta with out throwing a cel i all ready got the air pump out anything else i can get rid of? trying to simplify things thanks.

No problem with codes if you leave a good fuse in and just tape up the connector and zip tie it away. OBD1 just checks for power to the plug, not the functioning or something like that.

You'll likely get an eventual code for the EGR. You'll need to have it tuned out to eliminate it.

ok thanks i think ill just leave the egr for now. what size plugs do i need for the air pump into the headers there bbk but i think it would be the same as stock? any one know what did you all use?

Mine were a 3/4 thread just take the egr hose going to the exhaust manifold up to a hardware shop and they will help you out.
