Egr?

I had JetHot LT's installed about a month ago...Where do i look to see if they blocked off the EGR properly. I am getting a slight hesatation at low rpms and high load.

Please tell me what to look for

The EGR is on the back of the intake manifold. Look for a hose to run to it from the driver side (over the exhaust mani). The place where it connects to the EGR should have a metal plate between the hose and the EGR, I think. Anyways, check shoebox's page or projectransam.com. I'm pretty sure they each have illustrations that could show you far better than I can explain it.

Check this pic of back of intake.

The open hole on the back, toward the passenger side needs to be blocked off. You can either put a blanking plate and some RTV on it, or sandwich a thin piece of metal between the corrugated riser hose (not shown in pic) and the manifold, as suggested in the post above.

SJM sells the blanking plates. You can also remove the EGR valve itself, and blank that hole to clean things up.
