Edelbrock LT1 Heads...

It's been quiet regarding these heads. Has anyone played with them? There 170 cc with stock valve sizes 1.94/1.55.

It is impressive that they can make 24 hp over stock with those low numbers. The only advantage I can see is that the plug is "centered" more.

I was planning on the CC503 this Summer and port/polish my stock LT1 heads.... with all of the bolt ons with the car, I'd like to see 45 RWHP. Is there any advantage going Edelbrock?

Well this is my opinion and remember it is only an opinion but i feel that all the edelbrock cylinder heads leave alot to be desired.I have seen some information on these heads and unless they sell they extremely cheap i don't think they will be worth buying, you could home port your heads and easily get 24hp.

Thanks... I've heard some earlier discussion about flow with only 170 cc runners. I haven't heard anything since...
