Easy newbie ?

What year does obdII come into effect on these cars and does it matter on lightly modded cars? For instance bolt on stuff cat back exhaust, intake, gears, headers and converters.

Is there a site where I can browse options through the LT1 years? I would like to know if all T/A's came with leather or T-Tops or c/d player?

94s had obd1, 95s had obd1 with an obd2 connector under the dash, and 96 was full blown obd2. shoebox has a good website on f bodys, but i dont know if it has the info your looking for. it is http://shbox.com/ci/valve_spring_swap.html. Hope this helps, Prorac1

The only thing on your list that could upset the computer would be a gear change cause it would make the speedo read incorrectly. Other than that, everything else should work fine.

As far as the leather/t tops/cd thing, not all TA's came equiped with all the goodies, but quite a few of them had all the options.

Deleting the catalytic converter could screw it up cause of the 4 o2 sensors, but all you need is a set of o2 simulators for the back ones and extensions for the harness if you go with long tubes i believe. Hope this helps Prorac1

Adding headers or gutting the catylitic converters on an OBD2 car may trigger an EGR flow malfunction code.
