DynoMouth or Mufflex?

Im debating on what cat back for my winter project. I want this car to be loud.

I was thinking about running a dynomouth or the mufflex setup, because im not crazy about running a cutout under the passanger seat. Its a 97 Formula.

Its gunna be ported heads, lt4 hotcam, with mac headers with ORP. What do you guys think.

I like the dynomouth over the regular loudmouth because there is less crackling and raspy tone.

What ya think?

i have a friend with the "dynomouth" and Mac headers with no cats and i think it sounds like poopoo, its constantly got this cackle like glasspacks do, if you decide to do something like the "dynomouth" try out a chambered muffler in the same spot as where the dyno bullet would go!

I've never heard of a Dynomouth before. Who makes it?

All it is, its a SLP Loudmouth, and you take out the resonator, and replace it with a dynomax bullet muffler.

What chambered muffers do you mean? And how much?

they're supposed to sound similar to the chambered mufflers that GMMG uses...

"In this basic group of STAINLESS STEEL chambered mufflers, the inner baffle tubes are the same diameter as the inlet and outlet. However, 3" inlets and outlets come with 2½" inner baffle tubes."

I wonder what how much performance one of those would cost me... Going from a 3inch to inner 2 1/2 inch on the intermediate pipe..

I was looking at these too

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...65&prmenbr=361

Put one cone on each header instead of 1 resonator on the intermediate pipe.. Kinda like how they put 2 cats on each branch of the ypipe to get 10 more hp out of the 96-97 z28's.

i have a borla exhaust with no cats... so the passenger side exhaust tube totally bypasses the muffler and i get this untuned sound inbetween 2-3k rpms tahts annoying. WOT sounds bad *** though.
