Dyno'd the car today.
im not one to hop around about dyno #'s but i took the car to the dyno today, i just took it to get it tuned.
car was extremely lean on motor with the tune ive been running. 14:1 AFR. end result car gained a good deal of power on the motor. made 366RWHP/433TQ. still needs more tuning but we were running out of time. Tony is gonna do some more chip changes at the house and give me another chip to swap out at the track, but he said he feels theres even more power in it because he didn't even touch the timing and its set low right now. made a bottle pass with a 62N/38F jet setup in the NX kit. thats for a 150hp shot, but i lost my 35F jet (one that is supposed to be in it) i figured a 38 is just 3 sizes higher, no big deal until i find the right one, WRONG. car was ungodly rich on the bottle pull. 900psi bottle pressure and everything normal, AFR came out UNDER 10:1, still made 458RWHP/529TQ. so, anyways im pretty happy with the evening because i figured out why its been such a pig on motor, and i also know it'll do over 500 at the wheels with the right nitrous jets on a 150 shot. not bad running thru a overdrive trans and a LOOSE converter. |
