dyno numbers, are these unheard of
i read in all these places of stock 6 speed lt1 cars dynoing at the 230 to 245 ranges stock, i went and had my stock camaro dynoed at it hit 275 horse and 303 ft lbs, with my current mods it went to 305 horse and 325 ft lbs and the results are simular on 2 differant dynos. how do these numers compare to others??

400+ hp cars grow on trees in Texas, don't you know that? :)

with only a K&N filter on my car i put down 272hp and 309ftlbs. thats SAE on a dyno jet.

That does seem a little high. Your "stock" numbers look to be right on par w/ where they should have been.. But for your mods - yup.. Those are some pretty high dyno numbers. For most LT1's, it takes full exhaust and all the other bolt ons to get 305rwhp out of it.. 'Course, they also put out around 340rwtq w/ that much rwhp. Get that sucker to the track ;) |
