DynaSpark or Optispark??
 

Ok trying to finish up collecting all the parts for my 383 LE3 build and cant decide if it is best to get a replacement opti or spend the extra money for a DynaSpark? I am going to be reving this thing to somewhere between 6500-6800. Does anybody with a similar setup have any advice?

I have a Dynaspark. My car runs crispier, and strong on the top-end.
I'm happy with it.

You might want to read what is said about it on the Dynotech website. It's made mostly of stock parts.

I actually wanna know this too... is it worth the extra cash? Is there a noticable difference between the two efficiency wise?

If not one of these two... is there anything else available for a 96 WS6 that would be better then these two?

Well.. Rob, I compare the OEM opti/Dynotech to a stock engine that has been 'blueprinted'. It becomes a different animal. It IS a cadillac of optis. The question is, do you care to spend the money. Yes, it is worth the extra cash. But also keep in mind, a lot of OEM optis have gone AT LEAST 100 thousand miles without a glitch. No, they (OEM) were not intended to rev at/to 7 thou... Actually, the issue with the opti (OEM or even the Dynotech) is the secondary high voltage circuit. By removing the high voltage responsibility from the mitsu design, longevity/dependability is greatly improved. Yes, we're talking LS1 style CNP ignition. The opti no longer is responsible for distributing spark to the plugs with this mod.

i have a dynaspark so complaints out me yet. I have had many opti problems in the past.
