Driveshaft help!!!!!

i have a 1996 Z28, with some mods, but the main point is my aluminum driveshaft. today i dropped my clutch at around 3000rpm's, and it just shredded the yolk on my driveshaft!!! my u-joint is gone, and the driveshaft is separated from the rear-end, but is still hanging from the tranny. my gears still work ok, and everything shift well, but my car will not drive. Has anyone had to replace their driveshaft before, even with a stock one, and around how much did it cost?! thanks

you can pick up used steel shafts from the lt1's for around $50-75.

or you could get a used aluminum ls1 shaft for about $125-150

or an aluminum 1le shaft for around $200

or pay mucho $$ for an aftermarket alum. shaft or carbon fiber if you really want to blow some dough
