drivers side header bottom??or top??

hey everybody im bout to put in my headers first im doing the drivers side...does it go in through the top or bottom????????thanks.......by the way they are long tubes

Bottom, both of them. I took out the steering knuckle so I didn't have to deal with the slip tube, but if you find that to be too much of a hassle, you can just slip the tube out, and fit them up.

Really, really, really far. I had a small jack and jack stands; I had to run to Autozone and get the big 3 ton floor jack and the biggest jackstands. Next I had to go to Home Depot, get solid cinder blocks to put the jack on to get the car up high enough.

You've almost got to slide them in vertically, then tilt them into place.

Yeah, I had 6" tall thin cinder blocks with tiny slots in them, and one crumbled when we were jacking up the car.

The other alternative is unbolting the motor mount on one side and jack up the engine.

You can always experiment to see what works best.
