Does anyone still port throttle bodies??
Just looking for someone to port my stock throttle body to 52mm and I was wondering if anybody still does it???
Thanks ;) |
T.P.I.S., Thunder Racing, and Lingenfelter all advertise the service. I'm sure there are other reputable outfits who will undertake the work.

Yeah, but the big name companies like that want big dollars is the only problem...I would figure that a club member like Nomad used to would be able to do it for a lot less. Just trying to save a couple bucks. ;)

I believe nomad still does them

Yeah, thats what I thought...I tried contacting him by PM, but I got no response from him...hmm

I bought a reworked (edit, bored to 60mm) tb for my 97 jeep cherokee from this guy. He did a GREAT job on his kits. He also does LT1 tb's (which is where he cut his teeth). The quality of his Jeep kit is exceptional, and the price is good too. He told me his LT1 deal was about $180; $190 swap.
His email is dkoldos@ameritech.net. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. |

This is my version it measures 50.8mm (2" throttle plates) with special trumpet inserts. It flows just as much as a 52mm but does it much more efficently. I can make them with your core for about $200 shipped if your interested. It does fit inside the stock intake elbow, just incase your wondering. |
