Does anybody know?

I bought a 94 camaro from a man with the rod and main bearings spun out of it. I knew this but the price was so cheap for a perfectly fine car that i had to buy it. It had the lt1 with the aluminum heads (staggered spark plugs).

well i pulled it out and my dad went and got another lt1 except this one had the cast iron heads(straight in spark plugs). This motor came out of a 1998 model buick? is what the man that sold it to dad said. Does anybody know what kinda buicks that year had the lt1 and was rear wheel drive?

I heard that the motor with the cast iron heads was faster, which i think is crazy because aluminum heads is alwayz a better upgrade? right
My old one had the non vented opti and this one has the vented opti, which is better?

thanks

Iron heads are a ton heavier than aluminum. But, they can flow a lot better.
