Does 14MPG seem good for city traffic driving?

I'm getting about 215 miles to a full tank, this is almost running until she's dry, but doesn't stall, our tanks are around 15.32 gallons, so I calculated 14MPG, this is driving city traffic bumper to bumper, at times its ok where I can drive ok speeds but still stop lights everywhere, but ussually on the way back from school I hit traffic where its stop & go, hitting 3rd gear is great, mostly in 1st, 2nd, 3rd pretty much, at time I go into 4th but rarely.

My cam specs are in the 24X-25X range & on a 109 LSA, rest is in the sig.

Let me know what you think, I also have a problem with my gas tank cuz it won't hold pressure as in evaporated fuel, if I take off the gas cap, it'll never hiss out, I mean never & smells like raw gas at times, so I'll be doing a fuel pump swap soon & double check all the hoses. needless to say, I've spent quite some time on the tune & wanted to hear some opinions on the gas milage.

Thanx. Matt.

14 is good for that cam. Calculate it the correct way though. Fill up, drive a certain # of miles then fill up again, and divide miles by gallons used.

I'm running one of Joe's cams and I usually get 21-22mpg mix and 17-18 all city/racing.

Wow, I don't feel too bad now. I was shocked when I only got 15mpg out of my last tank (first tank I sprayed the 150 shot on).

LT's and duals w/stock cam (and all your other typical bolt ons) here. I was getting somewhere between 12 and 15 mpg city. Then I solved a vacuum leak and replaced both o2's with new ac delco units. Now I get 20 - 21.5 mpg city (beating on it some though probably not like y'all are ). I got 280 miles outta this last tank (13.8 gallons went in when I filled it).

My gas mileage is

Sounds good to me, for your mods.

Most guys will see 16-17 bone stock with an M6 in bumper to bumper city driving, and 24-29 all highway in a M6

I should take a look at your tune and give my opinion ;-).

14mpg is not too bad with a hds/cam car. Some stock A4 cars don't get a whole lot more than that

I'm brewing up a different tune right now, I'm sure i'll get a lot more when I solve my EVAP problem, all my evaporated fuel ends up outside of the car

Few questions man....

Any dyno #'s w/ the new setup or any track times?
Are you stock bottem end?
Who did the tuning?
What are you planning on spinning it up to?

BTW....Gotta love Joe and Lloyd.

How do you know this is happening, and how will you be troubleshooting and/or solving this problem?
