Disappointed again with dyno
Got the car back on again as he owed me a run from not reving it far enough last time. This time I had a Trifecta Tune done as had 3:73's put in same time. I was hoping for close to 300Hp but no luck. It was hot that day.
Dyno 1 http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p...camarodyno.jpg Dyno 2 http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p...amarodyno2.jpg.. I can't get them to post right, any help would be appreciated. |
you may need a tune up, thats a little low for your mods.
|
Cant tell from you second dyno sheet but the first one looks like 12.1 A/F, Thats waay to rich, need to lean it out and you will see some more power..
|
Ya that A/F ratio is off a little on the tune.
|
I think for every dyno/track success story online there are 50 of us that have to struggle to get similar results. Keep at it, but I wouldn't expect a ton more from an auto with just exhaust and a filter. On a similar setup I think I did like 280 through a 6 speed.

Ya but 260? I'd be hoping for 280 without a stall. :)

Those numbers aren't too bad for the limited mods you have and the 93*F temps you were running in. For comparison, here are my numbers before the headers and MadZ28 tune: http://memimage.cardomain.com/member...88_14_full.jpg Thomas. |
Thats 275 with Kooks headers and a tune from Trifecta but on a hot day. I was hoping for 290 to 300 but thats way off.
|
I wouldn't expect more than about 30hp from the long tubes. I say you are doing pretty good with those mods.
