Question Disabled air/egr w/95 opti

For those who have disabled their air pumps and egr systems. Where did you connect the vent purge line from the opti to? I don't want to put my air pump back on, need the space for other things. I would rather not have the line just dangling somewhere either. Can the line be connected to another vacuum source to draw any moisture out of the vented opti?

My opti vacuum/air harness does not interconnect with the AIR or EGR.

Same here. My vent tube connects to my intake elbow.

This is weird then. I have two lines coming out of the opti. One did go up to the intake elbow the other went to a selaniod? which connected into the air pump assy. Did your opti have two vacuum lines running out of it????

Solved after I first wrote this. The second line goes to manifold vacuum port. I have TCS so it all gets a little muddled in there finding where stuff goes. Those a great tech pages you have btw Shoebox. Thanks!

One goes to the intake, if you ran exaust gas through it (EGR) that wouldn't make for a good design eh?

The AIR pump does not run full time either.
