Exclamation Different Headlight Prob

Guys my passenger side headlight goes down, shut off, and them pop up again. Its not the motor cause it doesn't make a grinding sound. It just started today.

Any suggestion??

I'll bet you a 12 pack I know what is wrong?

Oh well, I was thirsty so thought I'd try

Usually when this happens the raise/lower arm stop has broken off! Take a look at good headlight and down in there you will see a tab/stop which the raise lower arm makes contact with. Now take a look at the one that is not working properly and you'll most likely see this tab/stop is GONE. You'll also see this isn't an easy thing to replace with factory parts. What I usually recommend is getting a bolt (of the same diameter as the previous stop) and rigging up this bolt with a couple of nuts to make it act like a stop. What else you can do to help dampen things a little too (to prevent them from closing so hard) is to slide a piece of rubber hose/tubing over the bolt (and tab/stop on the other side) and what this will do is help to slightly dampen the closing force.
