If you say... "Lets race right now... my car as is!!"

Would retarding the timing to make car faster be "As is"

It was a discussion at school... some kid said he'll beat my car as is. But then wanted to take time to retard his timing or advance it... I dunno whatever he said. I didn't even know he said this, either way I wouldn't of cared. I would of romped his ass anyway.

Everyone thinks my "Stock" car runs mid 14's at best and refuses to believe how easily I could make it run 13's. No one knows I have the cam though. Doesn't lope to hard and I usualy would cruise around 2k around them so there is no lope at all.

You think I am good for low 13's with my setup? I think i'm a pretty good driver, I don't launch to hard because of the stock 10 bolt but I don't mis shift :metal: and I bang gears pretty damn fast.

erm, based on your mods i would think you'd be good for low 13s. Although i'm seeing no mention of headers...if you don't have headers than i'm not sure that came is doing you THAT much good, but even then if you are good driver you should be mid 13s I would think.

I am putting out the same rwhp as a LS1 at stock form, which run low low 13's... but I have a much better torque curve. Thats why I figured low 13's

Just race him, let him do his little retarded stuff he does. If you lose, then do what 944v8inDFW said. Hell even if you win just do that anyways just for thinking he could challenge you with his POS he probably desirves it. Also make sure you get both beatings on video and be sure to post it here so we can spead his embarassment across the internet. Then say "you've been beaten as is"

Back to the topic, your probably close to low 13's.
