So, I went to the hardware store and bought a curved PVC type pipe, a PVC flat platform and bolts, screws, etc. I planned on making a ram air scoop to go underneath my FIPK. Well, I'm all excited cause the pipe is coming together perfectly. It looks good too, and doesn't look too home made or tacky. Well, I never even think about ground clearance. I put the pipe underneath to see how much room I would have and I had barely any at all! I completely forgot about needing enough ground clearance. So, I guess I'll have to try something else. The idea was so good though. Maybe I'll just buy a smaller pipe cause the pipe looks much better than the bent sheet metal you see from other home made ram air scoops. But man, it ticks me off so bad.
