ok guys my car has a bad cutting out problem. My first impressing is its the opti. But it starts missing real bad at about 2300 rpms. the plugs are in good shape, wires are new. Only thing else i can think of it being are the opti, coil, or ign. module. Anybody have any input on this. The car is stock, except for LT's, and cold air kit.

 

I had a similar problem with my car after heads and cam. Did you remove all of your plugs and check them or do you "think" they're OK? Make sure all of your plug wires are on good and tight. I think thats what my problem was. My #7 plug was a little fouled so I knew where the problem was comming from. Also, it might not hurt to check your EGR valve. How many miles do you have on your car?

 

i removed all the egr off of my car whne i did the header install.

 

changed the opti and fixed the problem. thanks for the help.
