Cutting MSD 3-step wires
 

Has anybody ever cut the wires on a MSD 3-step or a Module selector? Im talking about the plug that plugs into the rev control on the MSD 6AL. Those things come with only 8 inch wires and i want to put the 3-step and the modulator in the car but the 6AL is in under the hood. TIA
