cutout question
 

im in the middle of jethot install, and im wondering after i get my Y pipe made if i should run 3'' all the way back and then put a cutout back where the pipe goes over the axle...but would i be better off (hp difference? loudness effected?) if i put it right behind where the cat would go...so its 3 or so foot closer to the headers...or is the cutout with 3'' pipe and headers going to be extremely loud even at the axle?

It probably wouldnt matter at all since there is nothing restricting the exaust after the cat to the axle. It has to go through pipe further, but i doubt that would make any difference
