Crankshaft Hub Bolt

While looking for my crankshaft hub bolt I realized its missing.

So I googled it and it appears its a 7/16" - 20 thread by 2 1/4" long bolt with a thick washer or plate to hold it in place.

I found some on ebay for sbc's and was just wondering if anyone knows if they are the same, id imagine they are since our blocks are very similar.

I don't think that is what you need. The washer is not the same.

Look at this for comparison.

hmmm, so in comparison i might be better off just buying the bolt and using a couple washers.

Ive read of people using grade 8 hardware in place and not having an issue.

Just call your dealer as they still carry them in stock and they usually run $5-8 bucks. Not worth the hassle running a bunch of washers and a secondary bolt.

Agreed, just get a new on from the dealer and fix it right the first time.
