crane rockers
crane rockers
i'm considering buying some crane rockers and kind of need some help with which ones to get. i was told you can use older small block chevy ones because they are nsa and you will obviously need guideplates. is that correct or am i way off? if that's the case, the ones in the link i will post should work, correct? or does someone have a part number for me? i don't think i need the gold race ones either. thanks guys!

Well the ones in your link are low end rockers . They are also wide body rocker and you will have to mod your valve covers. You will need to run guide plates with them also. Crane makes a narrow body rocker in both NSA an SA . If you go with 1.6 rockers it HIGHLY recommended you replace the valve springs .
No mods to the valve cover I would run the Crane narrow body . They are both SA rockers.

i was probably going to run the 10308 cranes for springs. i'm considering running the crane 227 later on so i was looking for a crane nsa rocker to use with them...keep it all one company ya know? i can mix it up if that's the best route. thanks guys!
