I have a 94 Pontiac Firebird Formula A4 car with 2.73 gears. I would like to know what the stall speed is for the stock converter in my transmission. Also, what is the stall speed for the converters in the automatic LT1 corvettes, and would this benefit my car by having one one of these stalls installed. Thanks

 

I believe that our stock converters stalled at like 1200 - 1500ish... A vette verter is like 1800ish.... I went from 2.0 to 1.8 60' times with a vette verter. I also shaved .3 tenths too. I no longer have the Vette converter in my car cause I went way bigger now. However I still have mine for sale. I posted a while back. LMK if your interested.....
