Cooling Promblems

Well, after 2 flushs of my radiator and still get muddy like water in system. and now its leaking. the leaking is from under the water pump housing. left next to the thermstat. Also Now my Power Steering is going when the car gets hot but leak is leaking on flywell maybe belt is just sliping ?

and about the leak on the front of the water pump housing is a plate with about 5 or 6 bolts . Is there a gasget in there b/c it looks like its leaking from between this plate at the bottom ?

Are you sure the waterpump is not leaking from the weep hole? If it is that means it is time for a new waterpump.

You can see the weep hole here (bottom, center of the pump). It has a slight discoloration around it. It is positioned so that it leaks right onto the belt, so that is why your ps goes out when it is leaking (belt slipping).

A brand new GM pump is ~$140 wholesale and includes the water neck and a new thermostat.

yep that seams where its coming from tommorow ill look for sure . So how Hard is it to replace the WATERPUMP ?

Also why is the some much light muddy colored water in the system what is causeing this ? is it the bad WP ? it stain everthing this water touchs and i fulsed it twice its getting lighter in color evertime but keeps coming back ?

also theres a hose going from the airbox to the radiator this was poped off for a while what is this hole connectes between the air filter and mass air flow sensor ? maybe dirt got into my radiator thru this hose being left off for a while thanks .
