Coolant leak from WP weep hole area = replace WP?
Hello,
It's been a few years since I've posted here. It's nice to know that the forums are still alive. I have coolant streaming out of the bottom of the water pump. It appears that it's coming from the weep hole area. On this pic (thanks ShoeBox) it appears to be coming from where the "t" is in the word "Coolant", and the coolant is streaming towards the front of the car, then dropping over the front of the pulley. I can't really check for sure because I'm at work and I just noticed it this morning in the parking lot. I searched the boards and I suspect that a leak from that area = bad WP and I need to replace it. Is that correct? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot! :) |

Yeah, replace it... You're in luck, because I was just checking the "Buy/Sell" in this site, and there's a guy there selling one for $60. Check it out, save some $$$

Don't let it pee on your Opticrap lest you wind up getting a new one of those too.

i wouldn't drive it, if you had a way to get it home without driving... trailer, friends trailer, cheap tow, etc. opti will be the next to go if it gets too wet.
