Re: Coolant Disappearing?
I've never really traced it down since I asked the question. It never got too low, never ran hot, and I never saw any on the ground so I didn't really spend much time on it. I need to get back to it though.

Re: Coolant Disappearing?
Just in case anyone is looking at this I finally solved the issue. It was the radiator cap and cost me 4 dollars on amazon. I was just checking the coolant regularly and adding when needed. I'm going on 8 months of daily driving and haven't had to add any coolant since installing the new cap.

Thanks for following up. I always like seeing what solutions people come up with all the different issues so I will know how to fix mine if it happens to me.

Re: Coolant Disappearing?
Lol, this is an old thread but I wanted to update it. Turned out the radiator cap wasn't the problem. I had a vacuum leak around the throttle body and as I was looking for the vacuum leak I moved the steam pipe from the back of the head a bit and saw that the rubber hose that runs between the steam pipe and radiator was rubbing on the alternator bracket and the bracket has a spot of rust that corresponds directly to the hose which has a very small hole in it. I have done the throttle body bypass so the hose is a straight shot to the radiator. It makes since why I couldn't find it and it was such a slow loss. I thought it was the radiator cap because I had all but stopped daily driving it at that point so the coolant wasn't really being lost fast enough to realize it was still happening.
