Console Rattling

Look when i put mufflers on my z its an auto just crusing along the console rattles like something is lose or untill im about 1800rpms then it quiets down and just a little rattling which is no problem it does the same with open headers,,, obviously. but my question is when i run my exhaust back through 2 glasspacks and dumped by the axel and hangered up will that take that console rattling away i cant stand it and it looks bad too when girls are with me? anything i can do to fix this damn problem!

Or you could buy a 97+ console and some carpet to put in the open area so it doesnt look like crap. The newer console will be sturdier and you wont have to worry about that stupid POS lid moving around because it and every other lid (including mine) on 93-96 consoles are broke. A little bit cheaper that SFCs which wont guarantee the fix. SFCs should be a given on these unibody cars anyway.

My catbacks do that and I thought it was the cousole also but it turned out to be the pipe hitting the undercarriage just below the rear passenger seats.

I used RTV silicone to keep my shifter plate from rattling.

Eventually I got sick of it and sold the cutout and got a nice hooker cat-back which is decently loud but not obnoxious and NO rattles!

Try dumping them sideways instead of straight down. This way, the sound waves will not bounce off the ground and resonate and rattle the interior.....point the turndowns sideways.

If this is any differnce I also have the ES for the tmission mount in my auto or what ever that one is autozone carrys in the yellow package for 25.00 can this be a problem too?
