Computer tuning Necessary for this??

I have long tubes, cold air intake, no smog pump, no A.I.R, cat-back, low temp thermostat, and the other stuff in the signature.

How much would a mail order tune help me?

I already have a separate computer tuned for my nitrous but seeing as how I always run it with nitrous, I have no idea how much it helped. And since it has timing pulled for the nitrous, it seems of no use to run the car with this computer and then swap and see if I can "feel the difference".

I am aiming for not having to go to the dyno right now, even though I know it would be ideal.

I think it would help a quite a bit. Assuming you're running a totally-stock tune when you're not using your nitrous program, I'll bet you're leaving at least 15hp on the table.

Yeah, it is stock. No hypertech, etc. Then, I never run my N20 on the street simply because there really isnt any need IMHO.

I guess this might be a little basic/pushing the boundary for LT1 Engine tech, but what does the tuning for headers/intake/thermostat actually do?
