Code 26 - Info

I have search this topic but havent found any solid info. Im throwing a code 26 which is Quad Driver #1 circuit which means its the evap purge solenoid; or at least I think. Does anyone know exactly what these things do? Most importantly is it safe to drive with it? Any fixes. Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

Car should be safe to drive. "EVAP purge controle solenoid circuit is faulty. Check the wiring harness. " Says the Haynes manual.

It shoud be safe to drive. Check your fuses. You might have a 20V fuse blown. Replace it and see if it blows out again. If it keeps on doing it you might have a faulty air pump. Just take out the air pump and it should solve the problem.
