Re: Clutch install websites???

Here is a the website I found when I replaced my clutch.

www.zmydust.com/lt1clutch.html

It is a very well written and even tells you what size tools you will need for the job ahead. My only comments to add are these. I used a bungee cord to hold my clutch pedal up . Don't have to do this, but if you accidentally push on it once the slave cylinder is removed, you will be bleeding the system. And secondly don't forget to
change out the pilot bearing . I removed mine and compare it to the new one and the diameter of the old one was almost double of the new one. I used a blind bearing puller I rented for Autozone. Took all of 2 minutes. Much better than using grease or wet paper to push it out. Take your time, I did mine in a weekend, but I spent 5 hours cleaning parts up as I have the intake manifold leak and had several years of oil on all the parts. The trans is heavy, so make sure you have some way of supporting it. Email me privately if you have any further questions.
